Type 1 is the kind you'll be using. The type 2 kind is really for making adapters, where you're connecting a non-JAMMA board to a JAMMA harness (or vise-versa) and need to re-arrange the pinouts. With type 1, you just solder the connections from your PC right on to it. It'll work fine.

The fingerboard shown on the PC2JAMMA page is quite a fancy one with all the connections nicely labeled with holes to install wires. The one from Bob Roberts is just a plain one. I'd love to find a source for the fancy ones but I've never found anyone selling them like that.

: I ordered the fingerboards from the place you mentioned in an earlier post. My question is what are the differences between the 2 types they sell?(Type 1 and Type 2) and also, why these don't look like the fingerboards described in the PC2Jamma project(the red colored board)I ordered 1 Type 1 and 1 Type 2 to be safe either way. Man, I sure hope these are the correct type of fingerboard. Thanks
