Happ calls for a 12V source. I would think about going with that. I personally have sacrificed an old "AT" power supply and am running the 12V wires off one of the molex connectors. The trackball is back ordered for me, but the light holder and the 12V bulbs arrived from Happ. You may be able to get these 12V bulbs at the auto parts store since the reference voltage in modern cars is also 12V.

BTW, I'm also using the 12V off my AT supply to drive the 12V bulbs on the coin-eject mechanisms. It's not necessary to make them function, but it looks very nice. Sure wish that trackball would show up. . .

: Do I need the 6V or 12V? How do I get power to this light?

: Thanks

: : If you look at the exploded view of the trackball on the Happ Controls web page (see link below) there is a picture of the lamp holder, bulb, and all associated part numbers in the lower left corner. The order-taking people at Happ don't seem to familiar with the working of all the parts, but if you provide them with a part number things go much smoother.
