This depends on wether the button contains a light bulb or a LED. Even if the button were designed to hold a light bulb, you can get LEDs which are direct replacements for standard bulbs so given you have a LED:
Keyboard hack: Wire it to the keyboard LED connection on the keyboard PCB.
I-PAC: Use the optional LED harness. The harness can be unplugged from the supplied LEDs and plugged onto the LEDs in the buttons.
If you have light bulbs in the buttons this means hooking up a relay or triac, a bit more complex.
