I did installed it last night, and it works great! Aside from being in reverse... Can anyone post some links or ideas about mouse drivers for spinners?

The platter spindle was slightly larger than my 7/8th Wood cutting bit, so I used it to drill the hole and then used my dremel to route out the rest. It seated in there nice and snug, and is about 1/16th above the surface of the plywood. I used hot glue to make the knob, I am not very happy with that, maybe some epoxy with a good mould?

The action is very smooth, it doesn't seem to be very good for arkanoid (Yawn anyways). Tempest seems to work quite well, too bad I suck :)

The floppy drive is also a good possibility. The only thing I see is not having a good mounting cylinder as they are much lower in profile. The hard drive I used was dead, so it was better than cheap, it was free!

Gord.
