MX300 Soundcard in DOS?

I would like to run ArcadeOS for my front end, and have it all running under DOS. My Soundcard supposedly has full DOS Legacy support in pure DOS. I have tried many things and I can't get them damn thing to work though.

I am running AU30DOS.EXE in the autoexec and have the BLASTER variable set correctly. What gives? Anyone else have this problem.

I would use the SB16 PnP I have but then my 4 speaker Cambridge setup is not going to be used fully for Windows PC Games. And the Sub for the cambrisge rocks. :)
