I'd say wait a little longer and see if Monarc and Advance Mame will combine some features(Monarc would rule with the chipset support and the screenmode setup options that advance mame has)
Maybe the new voodoo based cards will be supported by monarc.
On the other hand, you may find a tnt 2 card, my asus card worked very well with advancemame.
