- I use magnetic latches on my panel. It's not in a cabinet, but I use them to secure the top of the panel to the sides so it doesn't move at all. It works pretty well. I also have square pieces of wood in the corners to hold it too. I don't have any problems with the top moving at all and I hammer on it pretty good to.
