Well if you don't want to use any clones and just the 'main' games you can change the setting for 'merged' to no and you will not see any clones. But I don't think you can play the clones then but i'm not sure. If that is not gunna cut it for ya, I'd ask Brian Lewis, the author of arcadeOS. He might know an easy way... and he is very helpful.

: I hope you guys can help...

: I've been using the ArcadeOS frontend for quite a while now. I really have no complaints and only praise for the
: software except for the following: It seems that whenever I upgrade the 'OS', I have to re-categorize my roms.

: Is there a way to save these settings? Am I the only one having this problem?

: What makes it even worse is that I only have two categories -- 'Main' and 'Clones'.
: My 'Clones' directory contains 3 times the amount of titles in it compared to 'Main',
: and I don't even use them -- All of this for only a half dozen games that need to use
: an alternate version to run properly (such as Bootleg, Upright, or 2 Player).

: Please tell me I've just been an idiot and that there's a really simple solution to this.
: (I've scoured the Docs countless times).

: Oh, while I'm on the subject of looking for help, Does anyone know of a decent rom
: management program for DOS, so I may be able to strip some of my zips to just one
: version of a game. I really have no need to have six versions of Galaxian. :)

: Thanks again,
: Mike
