I agree 100%. I downloaded the software utilities available at a few of the cab sites and tested on an old 486. It really wasn't that big of a deal at all. You can kind of tell by looking at the board which contacts carry the voltage. So just avoid those. I ended up with 2 joysticks and 6 buttons that all work fine with no ghosting or any of that other crap. I could have added more, but didn't need them for my project. I'm cheap. I'd rather spend the time than the money.
