That's an interesting idea! The jumper is read only at power-up though so you would have to power down/up

: I have ordered my IPAC Module, and was wondering if the mode jumper can be switched on the fly. Does anyone know if you have to cycle the power or does it just send the appropriate key table codes based on the jumper setting?

: My plan is to have a hidden button that the NO connection is wired to the jumper. So that unless you hold the button down it is in "Arade mode" and people can't access the menus and such. Sort of a double shift function. The main reason for doing this is because I won't have easy access to the module to change the jumper. If I put the button on the top of the machine I could use a book or something to hold it down to put it into the fully funtional mode.

: Any ideas or suggestions?

: Thanks! :)
