Although I am happy with the RCA, it does have the annoying 'feature' of losing all it's settings when power is disconnected, so I have to leave it plugged in all the time. No way to know if the other one does this too though.
On #2, I can't help but wonder if the extra res would make windows text a little easier to read. I can think of a use for the PIP. Game Consoles. a PSX2 or DC wired into the PIP, since most sets will let you full screen the PIP, would make it easy to switch inputs.
Just a thought.
