windows on a vertical mounted svga monitor?

Hi,
Some time ago I have read about a program that can rotate the windows desktop.
Has anybody used a program like that?
If so, how does it work, will it slowdown a win dosbox running mame, etc.
I think such a program will be very useful. I am going to use a network between my cab pc and my main pc. This way we would be able to use the cab for browsing when someone is working at the pc.
