Would using PSX light guns on an Arcade Monitor work?????

I need to know if someone could tell me if this would work. I know some of you are electronics wizbangs so you could probably tell me if this would work or not. I know how to hook up a psx to an arcade monitor. Just want to know if light guns would work.
