I can see I'm going to have a hard time finding a fingerboard.. can i do this for now. . .

Any more help on finding these would be appreciated. Until then, for a temporary solution,
can I connect my wires(vga cable, controls,etc) to the Jamma connector where all the wires are already connected. . and leave the Jamma connector disconnected from my Main game board?
Will this work, even though the jamma connector won't be connected to anything?(Game board,fingerboard)I want to get this working this weekend and not have to wait till I can scroung up a fingerboard from who knows where.Thanks
