Any tips on painting a cabinet? Rolling , spraying, etc?

I'm getting ready to sand my cabinet down after getting all the
goop from the stickers and such off. Should the paint be sprayed
on, rolled on, etc??? I'm not wanting to go and get a sprayer
just for this 1 project..hmhmmm guess I'll have to do
more cabinets ...HEHE. Any help would be appreciated.
