The main cpu board has another board less than half
its size ontop of it and connected by (guessing here)
about 60 pins(about 30 on top[end]and 30 on bottom[end])
What is this smaller board? There are no wires connected
to it.I thought this was the game card(mortal kombat2),
but I also noticed on the main cpu card, there were
mortal kombat2 ??rom chips??(about a dozen or more).To
make my Mame cabinet, do I just remove this smaller card
from the main board, so that the mortal kombat game
doesn't boot? One more question: I am still a little unsure
about Jamma fingerboards. I thought every cabinet had
one. In my cabinet, I have a Jamma conector that
connects to the main board w/ all the wire connections
on this connector. Now, where does this Jamma
fingerboard come into play? So in the end, do you use
the Jamma fingerboard inplace of the Jamma conector?
Does it also mean that you take everything you want
to use off the Jamma connector, and solder it to
the fingerboard? Finally, is the main board no longer
used when using the Jamma fingerboard?Man, I'm
getting dizzy:> If any one can help w/ these,
I'll be that much closer to making my cabinet
work!Thanks guys
