Well, when installing more ram into my HOT-569 motherboard inside of my arcade game, somthing happened. I'm not sure if I somehow managed to get the DIMM in backwards or if it was just a bad DIMM, but as soon as I turned on the power I heard a crackling sound and smelled smoke. So it looks like my arcade project is on hold until I can either come up with another one of these classically stable motherboards, or scrape up the money for a new board and some more RAM. Ah well... That's life, eh? And to think I had just finished gathering all the ROMs I needed...
