Thank you, thank you, thank you!! I feel so stupid but I'm too happy right now to care. :-) Just like you said, it was just the brightness. The ironic part is that just last week when I put in a JAMMA pcb I had to turn the brightness way down as the image was washed out, but I didn't even think about turning it up today when I tried my first cable attempt. So, my cable was in fact just fine. The image quality is great...well ok, for an arcade monitor...no weird dots or snow type interference.

Thanks again. Time to work on the audio, I think it's a ground problem because I get a hum from the speakers. Also I need to get the SB volume turned up in DOS.
