: I like the cab Tom.... how much was it if you don't mind my asking?

I paid $405 + $180 shipping via Yellow Freight to their terminal in my town which is in Indiana. Yellow wanted another $65 to deliver to my residence but they wouldn't have charged extra to drop off at a business address.

$405, that's a weird price, huh? What happened is that I bid on eBay for this cabinet and lost. The final bid was $455 but when I viewed the results in the middle of the night (I couldn't sleep and woke up and I HAD to check...) I thought it said the end bid was $405. BTW, I set my max bid for $400 so I was a bit upset thinking I lost the auction by $5. Anyway, since he clearly stated in his email messages to me that he had more to sell (a whole container from Tokyo) I figured what the heck, so I asked him if he would sell me one privately for the winning bid of "$405". Even though I quoted the winning bid wrong he accepted the offer. I hope this wasn't unethical but it's not like I stopped an auction from happening or cheated someone out of an auction. He had many to sell and the one I bought was never on the auction block.

If you look on eBay for the seller 'arcadestuff' you will find that he has been selling quite a few cabinets, some NeoGeo, Sega, and the Capcom. The Capcom's seem to go for the most amount of money. Someone paid $660 and another guy $550 and the most recent auction as I mentioned was $455. All plus shipping naturally. This makes my $405 seem more reasonable.

I emailed one of the guys who bought one and although he liked it he wasn't happy with the $280 shipping he had to pay for the CA to east coast shipping. Another guy who lives in Indy, just a few hours from me also paid the same shipping so at least the charges were consistent.

I hope that answered your questions. I have no affiliation with 'arcadestuff' but if someone does offer to buy one, I would appreciate you mentioning Tom A. from Indiana, just in case I want to buy something from him in the future. :-)
