Any 5 volt led should work fine. You can get some cool blue ones at some of the larger electronics stores. Or you could go to radio shack and see what they have.

Just remember, and LED is a Light Emitting Diode - since it is a diode, it has polarity. Meaning, it matters which way you put it in. Test it before you solder it in.

: OK. I just got a Crystal Trackball for my control panel. I plugged it in, and it lights up a nice red, and then green when I click a button. I really am not fond of the green, and didn't know if anyone knew if one LED light is just like the next? I want to leave the red, but unsolder the 2 green LEDs and replace them with just about ANYTHING else. Any help is appreciated (like usual)....

: Nick
