WOW! I read this so I called Denise. She transferred me to Wally in the service department. He explained that a refurb can be either a slight blemish or a returned monitor - however he just sold the last one. After a few minutes of conversation he told me to hold on - he sold me a brand new (WGM1931-M2TS26H) monitor for $250. This is the exact same model that Happs sells for $399!
I don't know if you can get the same deal - but try it - be polite to Wally; he's a little hard to understand but he gave me a GREAT deal!

: Just got off the phone today with Denise Brondos (sales rep from WG 773-292-5668) I wound up buying a refurbished WG u3100 for $250 + !7 shipping. She said that the tube is new but the chasis failed its inital test so they rebuilt it and sell them as refurb. Dont know if it will wind up being a good deal in the long run, but thought i would mention it.
