Speakers can be a little high for wattage. If you get 50 watt speakers, you'll save money and the Live! Platinum can boost the Live! card's output by about 15 watts or so.
The Live! Platinum comes with the Live! Drive, a volume control/input box that mounts into a 5 1/4 inch drive bay. So all the controls are right in fromt of you. As well as the inputs, (mic, headphone) even Midi In and Out! Cool stuff. My only gripe is that there's not a front mounted Joystick port.
Can't have everything, huh?
