just a few questions.

What should I use for the glass in front of the monitor? regular glass, glare resistant? plastic? how thick? how should it be mounted?

Gonna use some 100 watt PC speakers with no additional amplifier for this cabinet. Want to mount an external volume control. suggestions? Can I just spice into the wire coming out of the speaker and insert a volume control from radio shack?

Got a 15" PC monitor. should I take it out of the case for better ventilation? I plan to have two fans in the cabinet, one below blowing air across hardware and one on top pulling air out of cabinet, with appropiate intake ventilation holes.

Picked "Endor" for the marquee. Star Wars is my favorite movie series and Endor is a world of simple people, the Ewoks. This first cabinet will play the classic home consoles with 1 or 2 buttons per stick. Simple games for simple people, my little kids.

My second cabinet is Degobah, the secret planet that the Jedi Master Yoda lives on. Not only will this cabinet require the reflexes of a Jedi Knight to master (using 3 sticks, spinner, trackball, and 22 buttons) but this cabinet will also be my secret retreat from reality. Well maybe not so secret with the sound system I am installing!
