Almost done...best paint and application method?

I am within days of finishing my cabinet(at last!). It is a metal sit-down SNK cabinet with a 29" monitor, 2 joysticks with 6 buttons each, 3" trackball, and spinner. I put a link up about the cabinets a few weeks back.

Now, Im down to the paint job. What kind of paint would be the best? Being a wannabe graff artist, I am pretty handy with a spraypaint can, but Im not so sure it would be the best for a metal surface an a good even coat. Housepaint? Would it stick to the metal good? Should I use a clear coat too? Should I use a roller?

I am working on my webpage now and will have pics up soon!
