: I am trying to plan ahead for my cabinet, and one major design factor is weather or not to rotate the display. Does anyone feel that it would be a big deal NOT to rotate a 25" TV used as a display? I have seen (linked from this site) other people rotate a 27" display, but their cabinet doesn't look like a regular arcade cabinet (I want it to look pretty much like LuSiD's Arcade Flashback cabinet). Any thoughts would be great as I want to make sure that I plan correctly.

The main reason I used a 25" display was so I wouldn't have to rotate it. TV's don't really like being rotated, it's messes up the color. When I was first helping a friend get his TV out working, we rotated his 25" TV while it was still on the floor. Galaga rocked, but the colors went to hell. Had to power cycle & degause a few times after we set it upright again to get it back to normal.
