: First thing: I flecked my cabinet wth a grey & white flek spray paint. I flecked just portions of the front & sides of the cabinet & not back or top. The rest will be painted black with a brush (except the back which I will probably not paint out of lazyness). It looks great though. 3 or 4 coats & it looks like a champ. Its easy & quick.

: Some Tips:

: 1. Peel off any obviously loose paper or paint but dont worry about getting it all, flek hides alot.
: 2. Go over the whole area you will flek with a good base color (either black or white), this will allow you to use less paint.
: 3. Make sure to take off your coin mech first.
: 4. Consider flecking any outcropping parts of the coinmech to contrast with the black, it looks good.

: Cost: 9 Cans of Paint=$45, not bad compaired too some people spending hundreds & hundreds for lamenate (*ahem* NightStrm :P)

: Ease of Use: Its a Snap, make sure not to paint in good cloths

: Time: Only about 30 minutes of active spraying time to finish the cabinet, lots of extra time allocated for sleeping on hot afternoons & letting paint dry.

: Now about hte Super 8s...

:
: The metal "shaft" is too short to mount it underneath anything but the very thinnnest metal cp. If I want to have it under a good solid wood cp with plexi, then the shaft needs to be longer. Any ideas/hints/solutions?

- I have the Super 8's in my 3/4 inch wood panel and I routered the wood were the joysticks go until it was only 1/8 inch thick. I also have plexi glass on the top of my panel and the joysticks are plenty high and I don't like short joysticks either so they are just right.
