: A recent post indicated that Metal Slug really taxes system resources, so I decided to see how my PIII 500 would do (it is not my mame machine). I downloaded Metal Slug from www.mame.dk . When I tried it out, it did not run and I verified the roms (using A@H frontend) which yeilded the following message:

: Strange. Any idea what is wrong? When I check the zip file for integrity it is fine.
