Dos can have a PS2 and Serial mouse driver loaded - but MAME doesn't have a setting to determine which is going to be used as the input.

Only one of them will be recognized in Mame (I think), but which one depends on how Mame is coded...

: : The "Y" mouse is an automatic switching device, so you won't have anything to do manually.

: : If I remember correctly, it is for a PS/2 port - not a standard serial port. The PS/2 port sends data back to the mouse/trackball where a serial device usually doesn't. The "Y" mouse handles all of that for you.

: It appears the Y-Mouse comes in both Serial and PS/2 versions. This might certainly be my solution. However I'm still wondering a couple things - can a DOS system have a PS/2 mouse and a Serial mouse together? If so I could just make sure one of my devices is PS/2 and the other Serial. That'd probably be to easy (cheap) though. I'll most likely utlimately go with the Y-Mouse. Thanks for the info!!
