Shane,

I bought a JAMMA cab w/ 25" monitor too and did a pc2jamma conversion using a keyboard encoder.

If you can do some basic soldering it's a piece of cake

Unless you mess around with the capacitors in the back of the monitor I don't think you can kill yourself.

I believe you can get windows on the monitor if you use a pc2tv video card. . .but I've never tried.

Here is another good website for what you want to do:

Best of luck!

: Hello all again,

: I was going to use a TV with my cab but I found a distributor here in canada that has a Sega arcade machine with 25" monitor, Jamma board, coin slots, controls, etc, for $150cdn. Everything works except there is no game and the box is in need of minor repair (the one side has a dent where someone allegedly kicked it).

: Sooooo...my questions are:

: 1) How would I get this to interface with my PC? I know there are sites for info on it but I am not very good with wiring/soldering/electronics (doing my k/b hack was very difficult for me...shaky hands and all). Is someone with my lack of experience cabable of doing this?

: 2) If I go this route and just want to try it, can I not kill myself with the voltage that is left in the monitors capacitors?

: 3) Can i get windows to work with the monitor?

: 4) Am I missing something?

: Thanks,

: Shane
