I built my Cocktail table so that I could pick up my monitor and rotate it if I didnt like the orientation. I finally decided to go landscape (horizontal as longest), but I can always change it whenever I feel like it. I was undecided at the time of construction so I made sure that I could do either landscape or portrait orientation. Check out my cabinet with the link below
