Gonna buy the WG U3100 ..last minute questions

I have convinced myself to buy the u3100. I had a heck of a time with my electrohome monitor. What a royal pain!!
Last minute quesiton...is VSYNCH the best program to use with this? Am I going to have lots of problems synching up to individual games?
