: The "Y" mouse is an automatic switching device, so you won't have anything to do manually.

: If I remember correctly, it is for a PS/2 port - not a standard serial port. The PS/2 port sends data back to the mouse/trackball where a serial device usually doesn't. The "Y" mouse handles all of that for you.

It appears the Y-Mouse comes in both Serial and PS/2 versions. This might certainly be my solution. However I'm still wondering a couple things - can a DOS system have a PS/2 mouse and a Serial mouse together? If so I could just make sure one of my devices is PS/2 and the other Serial. That'd probably be to easy (cheap) though. I'll most likely utlimately go with the Y-Mouse. Thanks for the info!!
