Now to figure the length of travel for the directions, if I get those I could have one machined to test with. Another idea would be to use the existing bolt shafts but secure the plate with small wing nuts(finger tightened, they should do the trick and be fast removed as well). Overall I think it could be worth checking into. Great idea Dave.
