Another DOS player is MPXPLAY. Has a lot of options and seems to work well.

I intend to add it to my cabinet (in progress) I was going to add it on the same computer as ArcadeOs but I decided to add a second computer in the same cabinet (a smaller 133mhz Pentium). I picked up a monochrome VGA LCD screen that I am mounting to the side of the cabinet, with it's own controls. This way it is independent of the MAME machine. I'm hooking it into my stereo amp and will probably use MP3 instead of my normal CDs.
