Well, I posted about this previously, but here it is again. In December when I finally got off my ass and built my cab, me and LuSiD went all out on the TV out issue to decide what was the best frigging TV out we could find. I had a G400 and set it up. I was hugely disapointed at tyhe results. Not only was the quality pretty sucky, but after about an hour it stopped working and I was never able to get the amchine to boot with the TV out enabled. Very weird.

Lusid had a 3dfx card he had won at a LAN and it had TV out too, so he popped that in. Quality was so-so, but his images where all black and white. 3dfx support didnt help at all, so we kinda knocked that off since they showed no interest in getting TV out working right.

Next a few months before when we helped The Qleaner build his arcade, he got a TNT1 based card from Diamond and popped it is. It was ok, but nothing really fanatastic. At this stage it was the best one though. kinda disapointing so far. But then we laid our hands on some opld ATI cards. I had a Xpert@Play and lusid had a all in wonder I beleive. We popped these suckers in and just leaps and bounds above everything else. Since we where using the S-Video input on some RCA TV's (mine 27", lusid's 25") it was a very noticable difference. SO we just stayed with ATI. Afterwards I upgraded to a Rage Fury 32 to have an updated card, plus the fact that it's strong enough to play most games (I got a P2-333 in the cab) so I loaded up Impact as well as some 3D remakes opf classic games.

So go ATI. If ya can afford it a Rage Fury kicks ass, but the older Xpert cards that can be gotten for 30-50 bucks work just as good.
