In Reply to: LuSiD, your MAME cab is cool! I've got a question though... posted by David on 3, 2000 at 4:24 AM:
A quality result requires quality tools and skill, quality tools cost allot of money and skill requires practise. There are shortcuts thou… I was planning to do the routing my self but I realised that a real carpenter would do the job of cutting and rout my board faster, better and for less money than it would cost me to buy a router and practise…
So that’s my advice, check with a local carpenter… It might be a better and more economical solution ;)

: Boy I hope you get this... Your website has no e-mail address. I have a question in regards to the T-molding installation. I have heard from other message boards that in order to install T-molding you will need a 1/16" slot cutting bit. However, I don't know how in the heck I'm going to keep the router straight when cutting straight up the 3/4" plywood! I have yet to buy a router, and don't really want to for a one time job, but I guess I will cause I really want to get this cab up and running! What kind of brace did you use to hold the router in place to cut a straight line? Incidentally, my MAME cab design comes right off your blueprints - excellent design! I've got the wood cut, and now I'm at the T-molding installation part. Your help or comments are greatly appreciated. I hope it's okay to contact you in the future if other questions come up, cause I know they will. (I'm a total newbie, obviously!) Thanks in advance!
