Neat that it works! Does the mouse have to touch
the surface of the caster to make it work, or can it be a some distance away from it?

: I really wanted to have a Roller controller to play Major Havoc and the Microsoft Eye technology made it easy. I took a 4 inch diameter by 2 inch wide caster wheel made of a cool looking blue urethane and scuffed up the far side of it to make a surface the 'eye' of the mouse could see. Now when I roll the wheel left or right my Major Havoc guy runs left and right just like I remember it. I haven't mounted this in a cabinet yet but I will put up pictures and a web site when I do. I really love how everyone in this group helps everyone out and hope that more people try wierd stuff like this. I will try to put a LINK to the place where I bought the wheel. So how's this for a use for the 'eye'????
