Thanks for the feedback.

I loaded mame with -soundcard 0 and -640x480 to assure I didn't have soundcard or video issues.

Still not working properly.


: It seems like I have seen this problem when mame cannot get the sound working, but I may be wrong. If you are booting straight to DOS, then its a good bet that you do not have any sound drivers loaded unless you have them setup in your config.sys file. Look and see if anything is there. If there is nothing setup there you need to get the drivers loaded.

: : I'm trying to run Mame in DOS (win 95 booting to dos). When I run Mame with any ROM, it continually scrolls a message on the screen.

: : The message is like a stack dump with some registers, and says that the program ended with SIGENV (or something very close to that. Its scrolling fast and is hard to read).

: : No config.sys, No autoexec, soundblaster card. Ideas?
