: I have broken down a cabinet and reassembled it.

: It's bloody difficult, but not impossible. I have
: a dual Nintendo Vs. cabinet (I'll dig up pix if you
: want) that wouldn't fit through my basement door. I
: disassembled it partly, taking careful notes. had
: to chisel out some glue and pry apart carefully.

: I screwed it back together instead of gluing, so that
: I could re-disassemble it if I needed to.

: : You will need at least two people to shift it, depending on how strong your mates are. You probably won't be able to fit it in a car without doing quite a lot of damage to both the cabinet and the car so get a tralor or a van.

: : I have never heard of someone breaking a cabinet appart to move it, its probably possible but I don't recomend it.

: : Disclaimer: I have moved a grand total of one cabinet in my whole life; you may want some more qualified opinions before you go beleving everything I say.

Thank you, I'm definately gonna need help, finally got a chance to get the measurements for the cabinet. Hopefully if I can tilt it on its side I'll be able to get it through the door. I would rather not have to take it apart.
