I use an ATIxpert98. 8meg AGP card. Works great in every aspect for an arcade monitor.(electohome G07-CB0) All arcade monitor suppoted resolutions work. (including 640x480 in 8bit and 16bit) For the people that use an ATI card and cannot get 640x480 16bit to work ( picture displays 1 1/2 of a picture) I now know how to fix this but it requires changing the mame source and compiling your own version. I think that this may be a problem with ATI cards that use the PCI bus.
