They do run on MAME/ArcadeOS, however if you are running a standard monitor the y resolution is halfed, to fit them on the screen.

These games are medium resolution games, this means without a medium resolution monitor you'll never get the same results (unless you use a high res/pc monitor), only cards that support medium res so far are Matrox G400, Sis6326, Cirrus Laguna and some S3 cards using SisMAME/VSyncMAME.

As for ArcadeOS, due to the differences of video cards 320x200 working on 99% of the video cards, compability was a factor..

However I'd be suprised if Brian didn't included some native 640x480 support for certain videocard(s).
