I have broken down a cabinet and reassembled it.

It's bloody difficult, but not impossible. I have
a dual Nintendo Vs. cabinet (I'll dig up pix if you
want) that wouldn't fit through my basement door. I
disassembled it partly, taking careful notes. had
to chisel out some glue and pry apart carefully.

I screwed it back together instead of gluing, so that
I could re-disassemble it if I needed to.

: You will need at least two people to shift it, depending on how strong your mates are. You probably won't be able to fit it in a car without doing quite a lot of damage to both the cabinet and the car so get a tralor or a van.

: I have never heard of someone breaking a cabinet appart to move it, its probably possible but I don't recomend it.

: Disclaimer: I have moved a grand total of one cabinet in my whole life; you may want some more qualified opinions before you go beleving everything I say.
