I was talking to a local carpenter (making decors for theatres, movies and also some furniture), I wanted him to cut and rout my melamine particleboard. I was going for the white boards found in general stores. I asked him if he know where to find melamine particleboard in other colours. He then showed me a catalogue filled with boards in different sizes and colours (black, grey, red, blue etc. and also wood imitations and black board with faked wood texture). It also turned out that the price he was paying was 1/3 of the price that I would have to pay in the general stores. So I will order my boards trough him and let him cut and rout it for the T-moulding as soon as I am finished with the drawing of my custom cabinet :)
So my advice is to find a nice carpenter and ask him about melamine particleboard in different colours…

: I'm making some modifications to my ArcadePC, but I can't find the black melamine particle board that's used in this cabinet. Most stores sell white or maple, but not black. Anybody know where to find black melamine particle board?
