I don't like the way Advanced Mame cuts off so many lines in some games when I could just stretch the game out in regular Mame and have a little screen missing but no missing lines.

: There is no better MAME than Advance MAME, and no, it's nothing to do with AMAME. Advance MAME has tons of features that make it the ultimate cabinet MAME. Most important are the display features, allowing the user to tweak their own modes and use various effects to get full screen, correct aspect ratios in every single game. It takes time and work to learn how to properly use and configure it, but once you do, you will never want to use another MAME.

: New bugfixed version should be due in a day or so BTW.

: : Ummmmm..... is Advanced MAME AMAME?? The unofficial released ver at http://www.mameworld.net/ that runs in a DOS box?? All these versions are getting confusing.... MAME+, MAME, AMAME, PMAME, UMAME, MAME32 hahah... I have been sticking with Unofficial MAME32 for windows mainly because I built my entire MAME cocktail project around Win98 & USB. P400 Celeron w/128Mb RAM, 8Mb video RAM on motherboard and all seems to run nice and slick-like. Should I be running a different version?? Anyone?? Bueller???
