: I wanted to find out if anyone else was interested in this. I'm writing a MP3 player to use on my mame cabinet. It will use the joystick(s) and buttons on my mame cabinet to change/select songs, volume, etc.

While I was waiting for my ArcadePC, I made a jukebox program for it. I used VB with a Winamp active-x module. Using the joysticks and buttons the user can scroll through songs one at a time, or a page at a time, jump to the beginning, middle, and end of the list, change playlists, select a random song, insert a coin for a credit, and insert a song into the queue. Then, when I got my ArcadePC, I used the X-10 MP3 Anywhere wireless transmitter/receiver to send the audio to my living room stereo system. My friends and family totally dig it -- maybe even more than playing games on it :-)
