I went the same way as you (HotRodSE and Wingman Warrior), but I haven't gotten anywhere other than removing the spinner and the encoder from the joystick. Let me know if and when you get somewhere with this combination. I still keep hoping for a plug n play spinner where all I have to do is drill a small hole in the HotRod to mount it! Please? Anyone??
