I saw a PSX to PC adaptor that connected to the PC joystick port. That one only supported four inputs.
You could use all the buttons on the PSX, but some inputs were doubled.

It looks like the one in the link uses the parallel port, so hopefully it fully supports DirectPadPro/Sneskey.
