- I'm guessing that it wouldn't be tough enough. My spinner has a 1/4 inch shaft and I think there's no way it would hold up to a steering wheel being attached to it. I would think that you would have to have a larger shaft from the steering wheel and gear it down to the smaller shaft. Just my two cents though.
