I'm making one now that will correspond to the defaults of MAME so you won't have to ever change the default values. Gimme a couple days and I'll post it here.

Also, the NEW KE-72T has a couple additions than the old ones so make note of them. Couple changes are the ability to swap X or Y axis on the trackball (or both if you want). Mine has that feature so of course my .cfg file includes it...

: I was just looking through the KE72's online manual and wondered if anyone might have a working config file that I could take a peek at to make sure that Hagstrom's instructions say what I think they say. ;-)

: Also, although the data files probably aren't all that different, it might be interesting to have an "archive" of Hagstrom controller config files for different control panel layouts (if there isn't one set up already.)
