820's are not a good choice right now. The MTH is error-prone and slow with SDRAM, and Rambus isn't cheap. Rambus also has performance issues with non-sequencial reads due to it's high latency. The BX is still the performance leader in most areas. Asus has a new board - the CUBX (see you BX?:)) that seems to be the best available yet. The downside is the 2xAGP, but if you run the numbers, even the fastest Rambus cannot feed a 4xAGP and the processor at the same time.
Personally, I'm waiting until the first week in June when AMD releases their new chips. After Intel/AMD performance is compared, I'll decide which way to go myself.
